We meet Sunday nights from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Youth Room. Doors open at 5:30pm – come hang out!
Our regular Sunday night engage meetings include large group lessons, small group sessions, worship, plus great games and plenty of snacks. We also have lots of trips and outings planned. In our lessons, we strive to encourage students to grow in and engage their faith. Our goal is to teach students how to take their faith into the world they live in and impact others with the message of Christ. We’re excited for what God is doing at New Community and would love for you to join us at engage!

Our regular Wednesday night impact meetings include large group lessons, small group sessions, great games and plenty of snacks. We also have lots of trips and outings planned. In our lessons, we strive to impact students with the message of God’s love through studying God’s Word. Our goal is to have students develop a strong relationship with God in their middle school years so they will continue to grow in their faith throughout high school and beyond. We’re excited for what God is doing at New Community and would love for you to join us at impact!
To impact students with the message of Christ and to teach them to engage their faith.
To increasingly impact New Community Middle and High School students with the message of Jesus Christ, and to teach them to continually engage their faith by seeking God’s will and sharing His love with the world around them.
Eric VeenemanHigh School Youth Director
I am from Byron Center, MI. I graduated from Grace Bible College in Wyoming, MI with a degree in Worship Arts and Biblical Studies. I’m passionate about music, and I love using it as an avenue of worship to our God. Besides music, I enjoy adventurous things like traveling or hiking, especially if I can get people to go with me. I also enjoy almost any sport, but my two favorites are hockey and golf.
